Egypt & Red Sea
While exploring the coastline, one must-visit area is Sharm-El-Sheikh. It offers not only terrific snorkeling and scuba diving, but also modern nightlife mixed with shops and stands where you can find local, one-of-a-kind crafts. In Hurghada, you’ll see international resorts and restaurants along with the El Dahar old town, where you can sit in a traditional Egyptian coffee shop or bargain for deals in the souks, which are the local bazaars.
Yet another wonderful yacht charter stop is Safaga, whose sandy beaches are a magnet for sun-worshipers. Fewer tourists visit here than in Hurghada or Sharm-El-Sheikh, which makes the scuba diving all the more impressive.
Sometimes, in addition to reefs, divers get a chance to see sharks and manta rays.
