What information do we collect from you?

Neo Yachting collects personally identifiable information (PI) about you that you voluntarily provide. PI includes information that can identify you as a specific individual, such as your name, phone number, or e-mail address. Although you are required to register as a member of Neo Yachting in order to have access to specific data or book a charter on-line, many areas of neoyachting.com can be accessed without providing any PI.

On all neoyachting.com pages that collect PI, we specifically describe what information is required in order to provide you with the product or service you have requested. 

Neo Yachting collects PI when you:

Member's area information 

Neo Yachting collects your e-mail address, password, full mailing address, phone numbers and some information regarding your preferences as a charter guest or yacht owner when you register to our member's area. 

Yacht charter reservation

Neo Yachting collects the last name, first name and email address of the credit card holder who wishes to pay a yacht charter on-line. We however do not collect credit card information (including card number, card type, cardholder name, and expiration date) since this information is dealt with by our banking partner - Crédit Foncier de Monaco (Groupe Crédit Agricole), through the e-transactions system.

Yacht Charter details

When you book a charter on neoyachting.com, we may collect information about your Charter Preferences, including your travel arrangements, preferred activities, food preferences, beverage preferences, allergies, etc... This information is stored in the “Charter Guest” section (coming soon)

When someone other than yourself is accompanying you on your yacht charter, we may collect PI and travel preferences about that individual. You should obtain the consent of other individuals prior to providing Neo Yachting with their full names, contact numbers, e-mail addresses, and Charter Preferences, as they will be unable to directly access our systems to view or change any information you provide on their behalf. 

Yacht Charter request

On neoyachting.com, you can submit a request for a yacht charter by selecting a preferred yacht, location and dates and filling in a contact form. By submitting the form, you do not commit to purchasing a yacht charter. Information collected by Neo Yachting when you submit a request may include your full name, e-mail address, street address, city, zip code, country of residence and phone numbers.

Neo Yachting partners 

Neo Yachting has signed partnerships with third parties to offer our members and site visitors a variety of products and services. All services throughout neoyachting.com that are provided by a third-party partner are described as such. Although we only work with reputable and serious companies, our partners may have different privacy policies than Neo Yachting. We encourage you to review our business partners' privacy policies to further understand their procedures for collecting, using, and disclosing your information. 

Other information we collect 

Some information is collected automatically every time you visit Azimutcharterclub.com (e.g., cookies and computer information). In addition, information may be collected from other independent, third-party sources. 

Cookies and other Web technologies 

When you visit neoyachting.com we collect information about your computer and assign you a "cookie" (a small, unique identifier text file). You do not provide this information - it is collected automatically as a means of supporting your visit to our site. This cookie does not contain any PI. You can always choose to not receive a cookie file by enabling your Web browser to refuse cookies or prompt you before accepting a cookie. Be advised that, by refusing to accept a cookie, you will not be able to access many travel services and planning tools offered by neoyachting.com. 

(Coming soon) When you access the “Charter Guest” section of the neoyachting.com web site or book a charter, Neo Yachting requires you to sign in as a member, using your e-mail address and password. Once you sign in as an Neo Yachting member, we record your e-mail address in the cookie file on your computer. Your e-mail address is stored in the cookie file as encrypted data, so no one can view the information it contains by obtaining unauthorized access to your computer. Permanent cookie files remain on your computer's hard drive until you manually delete the file. 

Computer information 

Neoyachting.com collects certain technical information from your computer each time you request a page during a visit to neoyachting.com. This information is collected from your computer's Web browser to enhance your experience on our site and may include your IP address, operating system, Web browser software (e.g., Safari, Chrome or Internet Explorer), screen resolution, and referrer Web site. 

Use of your information

Information collected on Azimutcharterclub.com may be used to: 

- Apply to the Neo Yachting member's area 

- Purchase a yacht charter, a yacht or a service

- Send marketing communications to you

- Respond to your questions or suggestions

- Improve the quality of your visit to our site 

Application to the Neo Yachting member's area

When you apply to the Neo Yachting member's area, we use your PI to contact you by phone or e-mail and communicate our membership rules. 

Purchasing a yacht charter, a yacht or a service

Information collected when you complete your charter profile is used to confirm and process your booking. In addition, information collected from you when you purchase a yacht charter is used to bill your credit card and deliver your travel documents, either electronically or through the mail. 

Marketing notifications 

As a registered Neo Yachting member, you may receive e-mails from us about special offers, Industry news, trip information, or other travel opportunities on neoyachting.com and its marketing partners. We may also use your e-mail address or telephone number to contact you about changes to your purchased yacht charter.

You may also receive postal mail notifications from us about special offers, Industry news, trip information, or other travel opportunities and its marketing partners. E-mail or postal marketing notifications containing offers for our marketing partners will be sent by Neo Yachting on our partners' behalf.

Responses to your questions or suggestions 

We will use your e-mail address or telephone number to respond when you submit a question or suggestion, or request assistance when accessing your account. 

Improving the quality of your visit to our site 

We collect certain information based on your navigation of our site in order to better understand and serve our guests. This data allows us to streamline your ability to navigate the site and develop featured programs and content that will be of interest to our members and site visitors. No PI is collected unless you explicitly provide it. 

Sharing your information

Neo Yachting does not sell or rent your PI to anyone. 

Service providers 

To provide and process the services you request, Neo Yachting shares your PI with our authorized service providers or companies within the Neo Martello Group that perform certain services or functions on our behalf. We only share information about yacht charters either reserved or purchased with Neo Yachting. 

Neo Yachting may contract a reputable third party to facilitate the distribution of survey, promotion, or sweepstakes programs. Upon completion of these projects, all information is returned to Neo Yachting. 

Our obligations 

Neo Yachting may be required by law to disclose information you have provided in obtaining our yacht charter products or services. Neo Yachting may also disclose information against someone who poses a threat to Neo Yachting’s interests (such as customer fraud) or whose activities could bring harm to others. In addition, it may be necessary for Neo Yachting to provide customer information to third parties, such as credit card companies, for the purpose of resolving disputes that arise in the normal course of business. 

Other Web sites

There are several places throughout neoyachting.com that may link you to other Web sites that do not operate under neoyachting.com's information privacy practices. When you click through to these Web sites, neoyachting.com's information privacy practices no longer apply. Neo Yachting believes that members should have control over the collection and use of their PI. You have access to your information in the following areas of neoyachting.com:

The “Charter Guest” Section on neoyachting.com allows charter guest members to view and change their account settings. You can update your full name, e-mail address, password, full address, add new guests and delete existing guests from each booking with Neo Yachting; update or correct names, phone numbers, passport information, and emergency contacts for guests associated with each yacht charter; and update your charter preferences. 

Communications from the Azimut Charter Club

Visitors and members will receive communications from the Azimut Charter Club.com when they: 

- Apply to the Neo Yachting member's area 

- Send a yacht charter, yacht purchase request or request for a service

- Purchase or cancel a yacht charter 

- Contact Neo Yachting with questions/suggestions 

Apply to the Neo Yachting member's area

When you apply to the Neo Yachting member's area, you will receive an "Introduction to Neo Yachting" e-mail.

Send a yacht charter, yacht purchase request or request for a service

When you send a request for a yacht charter, yacht purchase, service, pre-book a charter or place an option, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with the details of your request (i.e. yacht model, cruising area, start and end dates, etc…)

Purchase or cancel a yacht charter 

Each time you purchase a yacht charter through Neo Yachting, yacht purchase request or request for a service  or change or cancel a confirmed travel reservation, you will receive confirmation of your booking via e-mail. In the event that your travel plans are disrupted because of mechanical, weather, or carrier business conditions, Neo Yachting may contact you to inform you of these disruptions and help you make alternative travel arrangements.

Contact Neo Yachting with questions/suggestions 

When you request assistance with viewing your itinerary, logging on to the neoyachting.com web site, or accessing your account, we will respond to you via e-mail or telephone. 

Protecting your information

We want our members and site visitors to feel confident about using neoyachting.com to plan and purchase their yacht charter, so we are committed to protecting the information we collect. Neo Yachting has implemented a security program to keep information that is stored in our systems protected from unauthorized access. Currently, neoyachting.com only stores the information you provide when registering to have access to our member's area, sending a request for a yacht charter, yacht sales or a service. 

Our systems are configured with data encryption, or scrambling, technologies, and industry-standard firewalls.

Changes to the neoyachting.com Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement was produced and posted on neoyachting.com on December 30, 2009. Neo Yachting reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Statement at any time and for any reason. If there are material changes to this statement or in how Neo Yachting will use your PI, Neo Yachting will prominently post such changes prior to implementing the change.
