Beaulieu-sur-Mer

Decoration

An elegant seaside village located on the French Riviera, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, which translates to “beautiful place on the sea,” is exactly that. Ideally located between Nice and Monaco, this village is said to be one of the more tranquil and relaxed retreats along the Côte d’Azur. Home to similar palm-shaded promenades, Belle Époque architecture and pristine beaches as its more bustling neighbours, Beaulieu-sur-Mer is known among charterers for its upscale dining and stunning views. During a Beaulieu-sur-Mer charter, guests will enjoy exploring the Villa Kérylos, a careful reconstruction of an ancient Greek villa of noble descent, featuring authentic frescos, mosaics and columned courtyards that overlook the sea. For charterers who love beaches, Beaulieu-sur-Mer is home to two spectacular sand beaches, the palm-fringed Baie des Fourmis and the larger Petite Afrique, which is sheltered by the towering cliffs and surrounded by thick Mediterranean greenery. For berthing, there are two marinas, the Port de Plaisance and the Port des Fourmis, which are a brief stroll away from some of Beaulieu-sur-Mer’s finest restaurants, such as the Michelin-star La Réserve de Beaulieu. As Beaulieu-sur-Mer borders the Cap Ferrat peninsula, it is also a good base for a more extended charter along the French Riviera.
